Overview
purple-mri provides tools for segmentation, topology correction, cortical surface reconstruction, atlas-based parcellation, template construction, registration, and morphometric analysis of ultra-high-resolution postmortem brain MRI.
The framework combines deep learning with classical surface-based and registration methods to preserve native-space anatomical detail while enabling template-space, vertex-wise, and group-level analyses that connect MRI morphometry with neuropathology.
